How long does a bathroom remodel take?
It depends on scope. A surface refresh is a short job. A full gut with new waterproofing and tile takes longer, and moving fixtures longer still. We give you a realistic schedule in writing and tell you which days the room is genuinely unusable.
Can you move the shower or toilet?
Usually, yes, but it depends on what the floor structure allows and where the waste line runs. We check that before quoting rather than discovering it mid-job.
Do I need to replace the substrate behind the tile?
In the wet zone, yes. Ordinary drywall behind a shower is a failure waiting to happen. Proper substrate and a correctly detailed pan are the difference between a bathroom that lasts and one that rots quietly.
